The sliders were loved by some and disliked by others. The real controversy was the aroma that the sliders caused throughout the Lawry Center! People were coming from all over the center to ask about the magnificent scents!
Here's the recipe!
1lb Ground Turkey
1 Lipton Onion Packet
1 bag Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 Tubes of Crescent Rolls
Dill Pickle Chips
Ketchup and Mustard-optional
Take the 1lb package of turkey and cook thoroughly in a saute' pan. Add the Lipton Onion Packet and mix the spices throughout the turkey. Turn off the heat and fold in the cheddar cheese. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Take each crescent roll triangle and cut it into two approximately even triangles. Place one spoonful of the meat mixture on the crescent triangle and top with a pickle. Once the mixture is properly in place, put one pickle round on top. Finally pinch the three triangle edges together on top of the pickle and mixture. When finished assembling bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent roll sliders are golden brown. Dip in ketchup and mustard and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
